Vision
Policy and
A People First Community

Home Ownership: Each person who is registered as a community resident will have the ability to build a home on available open spaces. Our management will never charge someone to use the land for building a home. There will never be a rent paid, mortgage, or downpayment. This is the core of our vision.

Basic Needs: The goal should always be to make sure every individual has their basic needs met. Utilities, food, water, and housing provided for each resident at a minimum level is the objective. This means nobody should be denied the necessities to live because of monetary reasons. The only situation where this happens is if we physically do not currently have the resources, which is why each individuals home is built to be self sustainable.

State of Colorado: Our community is in full compliance with any rules and regulations established by the state of Colorado in the United States.

Community First Principle: Whenever a new decision or idea is implemented, its vital that the people of the community are the top priority. This means that management will never be allowed to make decisions based purely on financial gain, especially if it somehow hurts the residents. Growth of the community will always be allowed, as long as it follows the vision established here.

Health and Safety: Our community will still have transportation and access to Colorado hospitals and doctors. This being said, we will have medical staff on-site for situations that require a very quick response until we can transport them to a nearby ER.

Hands off Builder Principle: We leave the design of each home up to the residents while giving guidance on code compliance and structural integrity. The goal is to work as a team to create each home. Our hands on natural home courses will help provide expert knowledge and knowhow on building an alternative structure.

Individual Autonomy: Management of the community will value all resident's views and opinions; all perspectives are welcome in the Village as long as it isn't physically hurting other people. Constructive criticism will always be welcome and used to improve the agreed upon vision statement.

Project Support: The community will offer ways to grow passions and projects that people would like to work on while here. Whether it something like starting a making a cafe, martial arts dojo, or becoming an artist. We want the community to be able to have their own areas that represent their passions.

Tokens and Trade: Each resident will be given a basic income of digital tokens every month to be used at the central village stores for essential items. Inside the residential area, people can use Tokens or trade goods for items or services made by other residents. In this way people will have their fundamental needs met, while still being rewarded more for hard work that they put into the village.

Village Management

Accumulation Rule: We plan on making sure each resident is self-sustainable, meaning that they should be able to provide food and other needs independently from us by using the land. This being said, people will be allowed to use the central services located in the village as well. Residents will be asked to reasonably limit how many items are being consumed weekly from essential village stores like grocery and hardware stores. This way resources are available to everyone in the community. Items in these stores cannot be easily replaced using funds because they won't cost residents anything, so they have to be grown and made off the land itself.

Structural Safety and Innovation: All structures will be built using traditional methods, such as cot homes and adobe structures. This being said, its vital that any new structure is structurally sound for the safety of residents.

Hearts of Action Hero Program: A Hearts of Action Charity office will be established in the village to help find new people who are interested in becoming a resident. These people may be facing homelessness, difficult financial scenarios, or abusive situations. We will help them unconditionally and provide medical, and rehabilitation support. This aligns with our core values and is our promise for being sponsored by Hearts of Action.

Vans and Trailers: Vans and trailers are a great way for people to step into the self-sustainable lifestyle. We will help install utilities for people interested in arriving via Van or Trailer. We will not be charging for a space, we simply ask that you support the crowdfund if you plan on having an early space.

Initial Residents and New Residents: The earliest initial residents will need to support the crowdfund with any donation amount in order to have an available space on the land when the Village opens for construction. (This is designed to be highly accessible for people at all income levels and we will only be using third party crowdfund platforms that offer full refunds) New residents will need to wait for the next expansion focused crowdfund so that we can acquire more land and resources to support them.

The Promise to Uphold: Management will uphold this policy list in all decisions made regarding the community. If the values here are ignored or directly removed without community agreement, the decision/action that was made will be immediately reversed.

A Hearts of Action project.

New Ideas and Decision Making

An innovative resident Consensus Voting System allows residents to actively shape their living environment by voting on proposals that reflect the community’s core values, such as sustainability, comfort, and logistics. Residents not only cast a direct vote but also assess how well each proposal aligns with these values, creating a more thoughtful and inclusive decision-making process. Voting power is adjusted based on community engagement, ensuring everyone’s voice is heard, while feedback loops and transparency foster trust and cooperation. This system encourages a shared sense of responsibility and belonging.

Ideas and proposals can be directly submitted through the website. Proposals will be reviewed and voted on by the residential community on an annual basis. If an idea goes through, it will need to be in compliance with the above list of policies before being implemented.
